Do I have to connect my bank?
No. You upload statements you download yourself. We never ask for bank passwords or broker logins.
Which banks work?
Statements from the German and Indian banks and cards listed on the How it works page. If yours isn't supported, you can request it.
Can I see my investments?
Yes, in the app: enter each account and its holdings by hand (funds, shares, deposits, PPF and EPF, gold bonds, crypto or property), with the value and the date it is from. inWst fetches no prices: every value is as of a date, the date of your statement or of your entry. Imports of the Indian mutual fund statement and a broker's holdings file are coming.
Does inWst do my German tax return?
Not yet — the Steuer-Paket Indien (pre-orders in January) prepares the Indian income in your German tax return from your own documents: which form and section each item generally belongs in, with the rules and their sources. You or your Steuerberater still file the return. For your own situation, talk to a Steuerberater.
Where is my data stored?
In Germany. Every connection to inWst is encrypted. See our privacy promise.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Files you upload are deleted as soon as they are read; only the transactions or trades in them are kept. Ask us at any time and we delete your account and everything in it.
Is this financial or tax advice?
No. inWst shows your own numbers and explains them. It doesn't recommend products or give tax advice.
Does inWst trade for me?
No. inWst never places orders and never gives trading tips.

Yes. We start with Germany and are expanding across Europe. Join the waitlist and tell us where you live.
