Transfer cost calculator, EUR ⇄ INR

Banks and transfer services rarely show the markup hidden in their exchange rate. Compare the rate you got with the official ECB reference rate for that day and see what you paid, per transfer and per year.

Fetching the ECB reference rate…

How this works

Markup = how far the rate you got is from the ECB reference rate for that day, as a percentage. For EUR → INR, a lower rate is worse; for INR → EUR (still quoted as rupees per euro), a higher rate is worse.

Cost = the value you lost to the markup, plus any fixed fee, shown in euros and rupees at the ECB rate. Per year multiplies it by how often you send money.

The ECB reference rate is a mid-market benchmark, published on business days. No provider gives exactly this rate, but the gap is your real cost. On weekends and holidays we use the last business day before your date, and say so.

This compares numbers only; it does not rank or recommend any provider.
